Most people would never go into an alley way at night. In fact, most people would never go period or at least try to avoid it. Usually, only drug-dealers and sometimes thieves would come near an area. It was not that an alley way would necessarily be a bad, isolated area, it was just that a lot of time misfortune fell down upon those who wandered into such a place. At least, this was onyl for those who could not defend themselves.
Skylar was one of the few who went into this part of town. Usually, he would never bother to even come near here but he assumed cutting through the alleys would be quicker then walking all around the aidewalks of the area. Sure, he could have probably flown if he really wanted too...but Skylar was too lazy at the moment and did not feel like leaving solid ground at the moment. No, he decided he wanted to walk.
The brunette glanced at his watch, wondering what time it was exactly. He blinked when he saw it was 11:37 p.m. He did not think it was that late already. 'Why the heck does time always go fast when you want it to be slow, but slow when you want it to be fast?'He wondered to himself, though he knew he would not get an actual reply.
As he walked, Skylar noticed how quiet the area was. Even the sound of cars not too far away was faint along with the usual talk from the people who were still out. It was a bit creepy really. Skylar would think that there would at least be some noise whether it was a rat, cat, or something at least. Even the breeze seemed strangely calm.
Trying to ignore the odd night, he just walked on, hoping to at least stay away from trouble.

Never had she been more ticked off. Not only had the graveyard that she 'catered' for was robbed, but they got away with three of her coffins that she show cased. Coffins were not cheap to begin with. Akashlin didn't understand who would have the guts to enter her home at night and dishonor the dead in such a manner. All in all, she was not in a good mood once again.
The only thing she could do was walk, fly, or go on a rampage in the graveyard so she wouldn't cause any unneccassary souls to pay for something they played no part in. But the breeze. The air. It was so soothing even for her on all of nights. No one could deny it. Well unless you were not as dark as most or for a matter you couldn't put off.
Some where out to make money like the pimp who dared talked to her. Akashlin brushed him aside for it was clear he didn't see her sword strapped to her hip. It was she could do to not slice him right then and there. She spared his life because he finally left her alone after once glance at him and a stretch of her wings. He backed away.
The ghostly necromancer had enough of the sights she saw and turned down the alley. Her pale yes were not really seeing as she was lost in now into how she would gain the three coffins. Yes, her thoughts were more focused on work then anything else in such a place. Her hand was resting on the silver hilt gleaming at her side. Her free hand brushed her faded silver locks over her shoulder with her pendant bumping against her legs with a soft clink.

Clink.
Though it was a very, very soft sound and seemed to be somewhat of a distance away, Skylar's ears were able to hear it in the silence of the night. For a few seconds, however, he considered that maybe he was becoming a bit paranoid for whatever reason. Lately the male had been a bit on edge, though he was not sure why since he really did not have a reason to be. It was like he was suddenly on guard for something he did not know what to expect. Did that even make any sense?
'Probably someone just walking around with no life...'He thought to himself as he stuck his hands in the pockets of his jackets. Besides, it was not like he should have anything to worry about. Skylar could defend himself when he needed to, or at least get away. Though the second choice seemed a bit cowardly...well, maybe being a coward was better then being stupid.
It was then he had started walking. He actually had been so lost in his own thoughts he had lost track of which direction he should be going in. It then hit him he was going in the direction where he had heard that soft noise earlier, though it seemed to become more frequent as if he were nearing whoever it was the noise belonged to. Skylar was not sure why he was doing this. Maybe it was partly instinct or something.
After several short moments, Skylar was barely to able to see the outline of a figure down in the alley way. He could not see much else from where he was standing, though he believed the figure to be a female. Why would someone be out in an alley way? Ok, well, he was in an alley way but he knew his own reason. He did not know why this other person would be in an alley...unless they were doing the same thing as him: taking a shortcut. Skylar doubted that though.
"Hey! What the heck are you doing out here?"He called out to the firgure. It was not the smartest or nicest thing to start a talk with...but he had chosen that way.

Something that bugged her was the smell. Even though she was completely in traveling her mind for answers and whatnot, there was a stench that she had passed by like rotting cheese and fish. Already though it was left behind and growing weaker. Akashlin's eyes focused then on what was up ahead. It didn't look like much and that was fine by her.
The less traffic, the quicker I can get this done and back home....
The pale orbs wandered till something caught her eye. Shadows of a being somewhere along the line of this dark stretch they call an alleyway. She was sure this was suppose to be one of those safe shortcuts for those who need to get home by some curfew. Strange how somethings worked out..."Hey! What the heck are you doing out here?"
All at once the necromancer was on full alert. Nothing in her expression or movements showed such a sudden change aside from her hand tightening on her weapon and her eyes narrowing for a sharp look out on whatever might come.
Of course her not being the talkative type, she only continued her gait, hoping they would just ignore or possibly even talking to another. Akashlin could only wish as the someone began to grow out details of shaggy brown hair and soemthing she may have called 'street clothes'. She was completely out of palce in most cases but it never bothered her.

After he had called out, there came no reply. Skylar wondered why whoever was out there had not relplied. Maybe they were deaf? No, a deaf person would not be out in an alley way this late at night; that would be a stupid and dangerous stunt on their part. So, he could only guess they were either ignoring him or thought he had been talking to someone else.
He had slowed his walking pace a bit, though the figure did not seem to change pace at all. He was able to tell by now it was indeed a young woman, though some of her more detailed features were blended in by the shadows of the taller buildings. Skylar could make out somethings though such as her hair color and attire. He even caught site of something strapped to the side of her hip. It then hit him that she had a weapon on her.
Skylar was not sure why the heck someone would carry around a sword, unless she was one of those people who just did not want to be messed with. As he grew closer and was able to pick out more details, he could see even without a weapon she did not seem like someone many would dare to toy with. She just seemed like that type. There also appeared to be an odd type of energy radiating from her. Skylar could pick up on that, but that was it for the time being.
Soon the two would pass by each other. Skylar thought maybe he should just leave the woman be and get back to going to his home. However, his mouth somewhat disagreed apparently. "Hey, it's rude when you ignore someone like that."He said out to the woman. Again, it was another stupid thing to say some may think.

Akashlin would go with the theory that they were talking to someone else since there were more important matters and hand she was already in a nasty mood. She even took her focus off of the male standing in the alleyway, who now seemed to be getting closer. It was then she realized he too was walking. Even she had the feeling he was the one who spoke and hoped he would just ignore the rest since she was content on not speaking and he didn't seem to be speaking at all anymore.
Her bare feet walking the dingy road, it came. There was no seeing. It was something she dreaded. It was done and there was no stopping it now. It was just uncalled for. Although maybe in some small sense they both saw this coming in some way or another.
"Hey, it's rude when you ignore someone like that."
He spoke again. He did not just speak again. Akashlin actually stopped in her tracks, two or three steps past him. It was now or never seeing as how it would be no surprise he spoke again she just couldn't have that. It was bad enough she was already going to speak to him now. Just as long as she didn't seem him in case he was...attractive. That was the last thing she needed.
"I'm sorry. I was under the impression you were being the rude one. After all this is a free..." She paused, looking around the dark space around them. "...Alley if you want to call it that." Hopefully she was going to stop it from there and resume her walking which she did at a much slower pace.

At first, Skylar thought the woman was going to continue ignoring him. However, only a few steps after passing him, Skylar saw that she had stopped walking. He turned his head and looked, seeing the back of the woman. Well, he now she for a fact that she was not deaf and that had not been the reason she did not reply earlier. So, she must have been ignoring him then after all.
He was quiet as she started speaking. But, the second sentence the woman spoke caused Skylar to twitch. He knew he was rude, but he still hated it when people just had to point it out. It was a part of his personality and he had always been that type of person, so it somewhat angered him when someone would talk to him like that. Then again, maybe Skylar should have not spoke and just kept walking. Oh well, too late now.
Skylar was frowning slightly. Was this woman in a bad mood or something? His rudeness could not have disturbed her that much could it? After all, it was not like Skylar had threatened to hurt her or anything. Sure, hid question at first had been a bit rough, but it was still just a question.
"Someone's on pms..."He said outloud. He did not really give a care if she heard that comment of his. It was a very immature doing on his part. How odd it was that he was an angel yet never had he really appeared that angelic. It was very strange really.

She was a bit of a ways now. Still within easy earshot distance as well as still traveling at her slow pace. Akashlin didn't care if she sounded rude since she didn't care period. In fact she hoped she seemed rude in a sense. This guy deserved it and then some. Though what she heard next was nothing she would have expected.
PMS? Was this guy looking for a beating? Because if not he had her fooled fully. It was almost too sweet of a deal to pass up and she was going to take it, no payment needed. Akashlin could give him the full delivery if that was his wish. In fact she gave him no time to react as she suddenly had him against the wall, sword out and to his neck. Her pale golden eye boring into his and her wings flexed out.
"You want to run by me again? I'm not in the mood for your antics." She spoke, her voice deep and every syllable dripping with venom. She couldn't help it since already like she kept telling herself, at the edge of perhaps killing something or at least doing damage to help her relieve some anger. It would help her search to not loose her cool for the rest of the way.
Would anyone miss this arrogant boy? He seemed like a real jerk now after they had 'met'. She would not classify him as a gentlemen. But after being this close to him, seeing the features of his tanned skin and almost flawless face, it began to sink in. Akashlin had to keep face no matter what and was sure her anger would fuel that past anything on any level.

Skylar barely had anytime to react as he felt the woman push him up against the wall. He obviously had understimated her majorly. His deep blue eyes glanced over to the blade that was threateningly close to his neck. They then looked over to the face of the woman, and he could just tell by the look in her eyes that he had really enraged her with that last comment.
The poisonous rage seemed to be calmly channeled through her voice as well. Skylar did not think her to be the merciful type, especially after those comments he had made to her. And Skylar had too much pride to apologize, even though that was a sin and he was supposed to be a guardian angel. He did feel shameful when he really thought about it though. Pride was one of the things he had often been told he had an issue with.
From her face, he looked to her strangely designed wings. Demon. He had doubted she was a simple mortal from the start and she did not seem the least angelic. She would have to be either a dark or fallen angel to have wings and energy such as the one she held, but Skylar still placed his bets she was more demonic. He was not saying she was evil, though Skylar was raised to be extremely careful around such beings. He briefly wondered what type she was, but assumed now was no time to ask.
There was a glare in his striking eyes as he moved them to meet her pallid, golden ones. "I probably would, but I kind of have a life I need to get back to soon,"He said. It was also an unnecessary remark and if Skylar was going to say that he might as well have made the pms comment again. But at least it was not a lie. He did have a life he would need to stay with. However, with the way Skylar did things it was unsure how long that would last.
